What a dumb piece, basically promoting consumerism in the name of "the economy". I think it's great that people are starting to wake up, waste less, and recognize the hollowness of perpetual upgrades.

Data Point: I would buy a new device if new devices didn't all suck in the same way existing devices suck.

I would buy a new phone if the new phones storage and memory were twice the amount, so a 2TB and 24GB ram. The camera should be a great improvement also.
