Hhhh I actually opened the link to truth social. It's fun how stupid a letter from a world 'leader' can sound. Feels a bit like being back in school.

Anyways. Fun would be if Lula goes for the run imposed by trump. Just tax imports from US by 200%, then trump goes 250. Add another 250% and so on.

It's what happens when you don't play ball with the biggest bully there is this side of the pond. Not surprising at all though, the US has been continuously pushing their agenda around these parts for many decades now, even aiding the former military dictatorship, now aiding our former putschist president and his criminal family. Then they wonder why every day we're inching closer to China and their allies instead of them.

Fine, old man. Do your art of the deal thing.

I won't play victim, I won't support tariff retaliation. We're a peaceful nation, interested in diplomacy, with a long history of healthy commerce with the US and close ties to the north american people. This is the only sane response that one could give to such an announcement.

And there was much rejoicing. I waited years for this news. 50% is far too low! I pay nearly 100% taxes when I import products, american or otherwise.
