This is what I'd expect from responsible government. Let's hope Microsoft won't find a way to smear butter in the right cogs to turn it around, like in Munich. I'm surprised it's a CDU politician. They aren't known for being progressive, quite the opposite.

People love to point to EEE and say "Microsoft killed FOSS." It's the other way around, Microsoft saw marketshare increasing on desktop, with mobile bringing took a victory lap on desktop and started making Windows shittier with the idea that they have a monopoly. I think a lot of people in open source saw it, and knowing Microsoft as normally risk-averse just believed it's true. But, it's not. Linux is still going strong, both desktop and server.

Teams is an unmitigated pile of garbage and dogshit. I simply cannot fathom the product manager who can own such a piece of trash without having a nervous breakdown.
