Of course, the problem with lithium isn't the availability of the raw mineral, it's that it's only found in very low concentrations, and most of the world's processing facilities are in China. Instead of cheering that we've found more deposits, we need to be asking how long it will take to build the domestic processing capacity.

Why are they passing this off as new news? This was reported as early as August 2023
