Yeah it's a bit rich for tech oligarchs (particularly ones who came here in the 1990s on H1bs) to be telling Americans that we were wallowing in squalor and mediocrity despite landing on the Moon and revolutionizing the Information Age until the 1990s when H1Bs showed up and rescued us from oblivion. Particularly when they're also saying that immigrants in other categories are parasites.
Edit: I would care about this a lot less if I wasn't watching so many American recent graduates of really good engineering programs struggle to land even an interview much less a job with a tech company. You can't betray people like this and not expect a vicious blowback.
