Any details? What part is AI generated? Which model? What tools? What was the process?

I'm not sure this was actually generated by AI and can't find any news stories that confirm that it's made by AI.

Extremely generic, but still catchy and the fact that it got mainstream is interesting.

There are lots of both Udio and Suno creations which I genuinely like, but the best use case I've seen is for Kando: youtube.com/watch?v=vOE7EAlPUwE

(cool tool too)

Flagged because it is only a link to the song. Title is speculation.

Sounds good enough (clearly benefits from a huge amount of 80s pop songs in the training set - as well as those songs being very structured due to reliance on sequencers and drum machines for sound aesthetic), but something tells me it is popular because it's AI generated.

What's that something? The song itself. It has these brilliant lyrics[1], sung dead seriously:

Where am I going?

It really matters

It will be Spain

Or France

Or very far away

Maybe Australia

South America

Not to Somalia

Not to Kursk, Russia either, I presume. The song's conclusion?

All these choices, the mountains or the beach

Am I going to Poland or to Greece

Ah yes, Poland, a famous summer vacation destination for the Dutch.

If it was a regular song by a regular band, it most likely wouldn't be so over-the-top ridiculous - which is a part of the appeal. Someone singing their heart out weighing the choices of going to France or Somalia for vacation is just too goddamn funny to not make it to the top.

It's Number 3 by the looks of it!

So no copyrights, if it's true?
