I'm interested in this space as both a guy who struggles with his weight and a (hobbyist) developer who thinks there's room for vast improvement over MyFitnessPal\LoseIt\Cronometer. Also I don't think apps should just magically be free but I do think the existing paid versions are too expensive.
I like that you\they have centred the different meals and made the names editable, that's cool. Cronometer free version just has one huge list.
By the way I just tried to scan a barcode (Android 14) and it didn't prompt for camera permission, it acted as if I'd already denied it and directed me to Settings - not a huge deal but you may wanna check that (I'm assuming OP is the developer).
What's the goal\business model here? If it's not open source but also is completely free? Subscription features coming later or something? Or just a personal project you decided to release?
