Ask HN: How do people track/save interesting Githubs?

Are you using the inbuilt tools of github or a browser favorite system, or some other database approach?

I'm curious for ideas for keeping tracked and organized

Star them and import into Omnivore / Obsidian if they're really important to something I'm working on, in which case I'll reference the repo in the project notes.

I just bookmark webpages I find interesting.

I got a github or sourceforge folder.... I got a fanfic and short stories folder..... I got a folder for cool research papers....

Just wish I could export my mobile bookmarks without having to using a google account to sync. I have an android stock phone and a graphene and lineage is device.....

I star repos, but with the caveat that I make heavy use of GitHub's feature where you can add starred repos to a list. I have at least six lists that I add things to.

I used to bookmark them but I’ve found starring repos is cleaner, rather than having a whole folder dedicated to it.

I just 'star' the repos
