I was laid off last week along with 10+ of my coworkers. I took last week to completely disconnect and process the news. This week I started to reach out to my network: a friend of a friend working at LinkedIn gifted me 6 months of Premium, friends at Microsoft/1Password reached out and offered referrals, and many others reached out to offer support.
This is the third time it's happened to me since I moved to Canada and weirdly enough I'm not freaking out as I already know the drill and have a plan laid out.
What are your best pieces of advice when it comes to job hunting?
