Show HN: Build a personal knowledge graph from the content you consume online

I've been working on this tool that lets you build a personal knowledge graph from articles, blog posts, podcasts, YouTube videos, and other content you find interesting online. You can safely forget everything and trust that Recall will resurface it when something new that is related comes up. Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback on how it could be improved!

The original version of Recall was posted last year nov on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33425947

Since then I have pivoted to a browser extension.

I really like the idea of this!

I’ve always wanted a tool that automatically extracts value from my bookmarks. Being able to just save something and come back to it via metadata and keywords automatically extracted from it seems like a huge win for me!

Does it preserve readable (ad stripped) versions of pages I collect from falling to link rot, and does it automatically convert everything into content type adapative embeddings for citable chat querying with GPT-4 / user’s own personal LLM?

This has the potential to be an amazing tool, especially for researchers. How are you planning to handle data privacy? Is my data stored locally, or in the cloud I could only use something like this if I could have my data local or e2e encrypted.

Really like the idea! I can see the benefits finding connections between different knowledge pieces I've collected. Does your platform support any sort of integration with other apps like Obsidian or Notion?

Been a follower of recall from the start. Really love the direction and the latest browser extension. It was buggy at first, but seen significant improvements. I’m a fan.

Nice tool. How do you plan to drive awareness/growth?

What are some of the use-cases you have for this?

Good idea to pivot it to a browser extension
