Particularly towards the endgame, could sneaky players attempt moves that they believe will be invalid given their opponent's likely behaviour, in order to infer what those moves could have been? (and if so, I wonder what the risk tradeoff would be if they guess incorrectly and make a valid-but-suboptimal move while attempting discovery)
