A daily or weekly service (newsletter) with 1-Paragraph summaries of HN links that made it to the frontpage.

There is n-gate [0] that summarizes top HN stories, although the tone is quite sarcastic :-)
I don't think so because:
a. I often miss stuff in my email; and
b. This site serves that general purpose for me:
We have that. It's called n-gate.com
